BOA gives you consistent pressure distribution instead of buckle hot spots

Instead of the point-by-point clamping you often get with traditional buckles, you get millimeter-precise micro-adjustment and more even pressure distribution around the foot.The result is fewer pressure hot spots and a noticeably calmer, more comfortable fit.

Interesting: In a ski-specific study (BOA Performance Fit Lab), results reported about 13% less peak pressure on the instep and improved power transfer at turn initiation—meaning more control and less “play” in the boot.
